A dilator cannula will be be passed through the guide neeedle, and inside this one, the perforator cannula (trephine), to perforate the annulus fibrosus, performing an anulotomy of 2 mm. The nucleus pulposus is reached by this procedure; aspiration is carried out for 6-10 minutes, getting about 1,27 grs. (average weight) of this nucleus pulposus.
